The committee is comprised of the following volunteers: Stanton Bair(Chairperson), Alana Polk, Douglas Lloyd. The committee meets quarterly and schedules monthly meetings in advance.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Sausalito Marin City School District Board of Education continues to seek members of the community for appointment to the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee.
The duties and responsibilities of the committee are as follows:
- Performance Audit – Review the annual performance audit of the Bond funds prepared by the District’s Auditor to ensure that bond funds are expended in accordance with the Bond Measure. With the Auditor, report to the Board of Trustees on the findings of the performance audit, including recommendations as needed.
- Financial Audit – Review the annual financial audit on the sale and expenditure of bonds prepared by the District’s Auditor to ensure that the allocation of funds are in line with the overall Facilities Master Plan outlined in the Bond presentation. With the Auditor, report to the Board of Trustees on the financial audit, including recommendations as needed.
- Audit Firm – Evaluate the performance of the audit firm contracted to perform both the financial and performance audits, including recommendations to the firm and the Board of Trustees as needed.
- Final Report – Prepare a final report to the Board of Trustees at the completion of the modernization effort.
- Membership: The committee membership shall include, but not be limited to:
- A representative from a taxpayers group
- A representative from a senior citizens group
- A parent/guardian from Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy
- A parent/guardian from Bayside Elementary
- A parent/guardian from Willow Creek Academy
- Optional general members of the public
- Other interested community persons
