The Governing Board and the District staff recognize that parents and parenting adults are their student’s first and most influential teachers and that sustained parent involvement in the education of their children contributes greatly to student achievement and a positive school environment.

Parents and staff have written Parent Involvement Plans for Bayside Elementary and Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy which are collaboratively reviewed and updated annually.
